Q: Can I Sell Products with Kiosk-in-a-Box?
A: Yes. You can collect the billing information, shipping information, and let your customers place orders. You can also collect payments in the format of bills and/or credit cards. And all without any programming.

Q: Can I Sell Printouts?
A: Yes. The downloadable demo contains an example of how to construct a printout kiosk. It also shows you how to sell products defined from directly within Kiosk-in-a-Box, and also how to sell products defined in an Access Database.

Q: Is There a Limit to What I Can Sell?
A: No. You can sell a single item or 1000 items. Information about these items can be contained within a database or defined from within Kiosk-in-a-Box. Your choice.

Q: Is There a Way To Automatically Receive Each Order in Real Time?
A: Yes. You may optionally have Kiosk-in-a-Box send all orders to you via E-Mail. The E-Mail is sent real-time when the kiosk enters the Attract Mode.

Q: Is There a Way To Display the User's Current Order?
A: Yes. There are two ways to display the user's order. One way is via the Special Text object (widget) of Shopping Cart Widget. This widget displays the user's selection and has a flexible interface which allows you control over what components are displayed (brand, part number, price etc.). The other way is to display the Shopping Cart Editor - a pop-up window that allows for easy order modification. Your choice or do both!

Q: Is There a Shopping Cart Editor?
A: Yes. The Shopping Cart Editor is a pop-up window that allows users to scroll through their order, see the total price, and optionally add, edit, or remove items quickly and easily.

Q: Where is the Order Information Held?
A: In a Database. There is a pre-supplied shopping.mdb database file that contains all billing, shipping, and order information, and optionally the user's credit card information.

Q: What About Safety Storing Credit Card Information?
A: No Sweat. You may optionally encrypt the credit card information. The encryption is based off of the unique name of your kiosk (yes, you can name your kiosks!). Supplied with the software is a decryption utility that requires you to enter the name of your kiosk before decryption begins.

Q: Is There a Way To Transfer The Shopping Database Automatically?
A: Yes. You can set up Kiosk-in-a-Box to automatically transfer the daily shopping activity either via an E-Mail attachment or directly via FTP - your choice.

Q: Can I Archive the Shopping Activity?
A: Yes. You may optionally rename each daily shopping database and reset the new current day's database.

Q: Can I Accept Bills?
A: Yes. See the Money Collection FAQ for details.

Q: Can I Accept Credit Cards?
A: Yes. See the Money Collection FAQ for details.

Q: Can I Leverage My Web Site?
A: Absolutely. Kiosk-in-a-Box has the ability to collect billing, shopping, and payment information, then generate a URL based upon this information and send it to your server. Then your server can process this information and respond accordingly. Slick!
